Anytime!

How much do healthcare services cost with KanCare?

It depends! The cost of healthcare when you have Kansas Medicaid varies based on your family’s income. Generally, you will not have to pay anything for healthcare but some people have a “spend down”.

What’s a “spend down” - like a deductible, it’s the amount that you have to spend of your own money before your plan begins to pay. Spend downs reset every 6 months and you must meet them to keep your Medicaid. Families with spend downs may be able to switch from Medicaid to a Marketplace plan with financial assistance.
