Although our staff is small, we are mighty! We’ve been assisting consumers with Kansas health insurance products for over 10 years. Our passion is connecting our community with resources and healthcare to help reduce some of the barriers people face every day.

Carolina Biagi is a licensed health insurance agent and the Program Manager for the Kansas Assistance Network, LLC and provides support to CHC’s Community Health Workers. Carolina has a seven-year background in Community Health, immigrant health and resource allocation. She dedicates her time to ensuring immigrant populations receive supportive care in a respectful manner and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English. Carolina resides in the KC Metro area with her husband and son.

Ricardo Ortiz is a licensed health insurance agent and the Community Health Specialist at the Community Health Council of Wyandotte County. Ricardo has a background in U.S. politics from the University of Kansas. As Community Health Specialist Ricardo co-leads Servicing LIPPS, the civic engagement initiative of the Health Equity Action Transformation Community Action Board (H.E.A.T. CAB). Ricardo also co-leads the Healthy Environment Coalition (HEC), which works on issues related to environmental justice issues in Wyandotte County.

Ellie Ludwig is a licensed agent and the newest member of the KAN team. In her previous role, Ellie managed a shelter f0r unhoused women and their children while they got back on their feet. She also has experience assisting individuals with specials needs so she’s well versed in the complexities of Medicaid. Ellie lives in the KC region where she spends lots of time with friends and is active in her church community.

We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent 6 organizations which offer 56 products in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) to get information on all of your options. 

We do represent all of the major carriers in the area and should another plan seem to better meet your needs, we will connect you with the appropriate resources.
